Letter of thanks: Autumn Concert

Dear HCS members,

I am writing to send a big thank you to everyone who took part in Tuesday’s concert. There were a lot of positive comments from the audience, saying how wonderful the choir sounded. We thank Kate for her expert direction and her lovely solo items and Matthew for accompanying so well and for his great solo pieces.

I do hope that our new members enjoyed taking part in the concert. I really felt that our new voices contributed much to enhancing the sound of the choir – making us even better than we were before!

So much hard work goes into staging a concert so thank you again to all our unsung heroes who book venues, arrange publicity, set up staging, sell tickets, serve refreshments and clear up afterwards. Thank you to everyone.
